re: rock-climbing at Oxford

Anyone into rock-climbing, and going to oxford next year? OR anyone into the sport at all; seems to be really unpopular :frown:

Same. One of my mates, who also rows, is a keen Climber. Don't know much about the sport myself but she does it regularly so you can definitely keep it up :biggrin:

I know a couple of people who are into it. They mostly go to Brookes, as the wall's there. Apparently it's good.

Riteeeeeeee, I spoke to my friend and she does indeed do it at Brookes (even though she's a member of Oxford Uni) and says it's very good and she goes a couple a times a month (i think she said that rather than week - stupidly I deleted the email!!!) and it costs her £30 membership for the year (again if I've remembered correctly). Perhaps, you should try and speak to some people at Brookes and see if they can give you more details. She thoroughly enjoys herself though so I'm sure you'll be able to keep up the sport and have fun. Hope that helps :smile:
