Hiya! I have been given a sheet with all of the key knowledge for the Amount of Substance chapter (Year 12), and am a bit unsure about one of the equations...

M2 C1 V1 = M1 C2 V2

I haven't been taught this equation so do not really know how it's used or why etc...

Any help would be really appreciated

I don't really know if it would help, as it's just a revision sheet with that equation (and some others) on. It says that its the "ratio method for titration calculations" - sorry! I should have said that to begin with

EDIT: It should be a lowercase m - sorry!
