Secondary Social Science with QTS @ Manchester Metropolitian

Hi guys,
can't find much about the Social Sciences PGCE at MMU online from actual students. Has anyone done this before, how did you find it. My undergrad wasn't directly sociology but was heavily sociology based and I did sociology at A Level. Would this be an issue?
You would need to accept that you would be unlikely to be teaching sociology full time. Perhaps one or two GCSE classes per week which would be about 6 hours of your 22 hour timetable. So what else can you bring to the table?

I have been thinking about this as my other PGCE option is religious studies as this is what my undergraduate degree is, religion & education. So it’s between becoming an RE teacher and hoping I can possibly teach sociology too. Or specialising in Social Sciences but hoping I can teach RE alongside?
I’d love to teach internationally one day but I am aware RE is not a thing outside of the UK/ Aus
