How many of you tried water dumbbells before?

Seems like a good idea . Given that i am moving every few years since i rent. This looks like a perfect fit for my need since it can be moved around very conveniently.

Just fill water in when using and drain the water when moving around.

Anyone tried these before and is it any good?
16lbs is only 7kg. You might as well do a bodyweight workout, and/or use things that you already own.

Alternatively, just buy 2 standard 7.5kg plates and take them with you, or give them away, when you move, although a complete dumbell set wouldn't be too much more difficult to move every couple of years; they don't take up much room.

They look pretty unwieldy - you'd need a lot of water, e.g. 10 litres to make 10kg, and water moves around. I have metal ones, but when I moved house I used a moving company who moved everything for me.

I have never done it, but I am willing to try.

i have seen 15 kg ones. but i doubt how big would it have to be. it basically needs to fit 15 litres.
