I've bumped this for you. I don't know the answer but there must be someone with a physics or maths background that can provide some detail here.

I would post a few links that explain Lenz’s law is a statement of conservation of energy.

https://phys.libretexts.org/Bookshel...A_Lenz%27s_Law
The first paragraph in the above link.

https://byjus.com/physics/lenzs-law/
There is a section that talks about “How is Lenz’s law conservation of energy?” in the above link.

https://physics.stackexchange.com/qu...y-in-lenzs-law

https://www.quora.com/How-does-lenz-...tion-of-energy

https://www.quora.com/Why-is-Lenz%E2...tion-of-energy

Although I posted some links that explain Lenz’s law is a statement of conservation of energy, this does not imply that I believe that Lenz’s law is a statement of conservation of energy. Please use the links prudently.

Hello, I wanted to clarify what you meant by "this does not imply I believe Lenz's law is a statement of conservation of energy". Do you mean that it has nothing to do with conservation of energy or something else?
