Im 5ft 11 what length jeans do I need

Looking to buy jeans online. At the moment mine are 32 could I possibly do with a 33/34

Shall I get them in a 32 or 34. I'm quite lanky lol so what do you think?

32''? .. that seems incredible short for a 5ft 11 guy. Im a 5ft 8/9 and I wear 33'', so probably a 34'' is what your after.

That is if the inside leg measurements are the same for both men and women. . . :s-smilie:

which I presume they possibly are (someone correct if im wrong).

Hey I'm 5'9''/5'10'' and I take a 34! But as dancinballerina said, that's women's measurements... I would also assume they're the same...

It depends on the length of your legs, and also on the jeans. Occasionally I am a 32 but usually need a 30 or a 32 taken up to a 31. I'm 5ft 9. Jeans are something you really do need to try on, as good as they may look in the photo they could look rubbish on you whereas another pair might look great.

You cannot just go by your height. The proportions of everyone's bodies are different. You might have short legs and a long body, or the opposite, or somewhere in the middle. DancinBallerina is obviously a long-legged dancer - she is the same height as me but her legs are four inches longer.

Yeah good bloke makes a good point! The only reason I take 34 jeans is because my legs are very long compared to my body. Maybe go get measured?

me too. They are kinda like gold dust where I live! The majority of stores just cater for 28/29/31/32'' legged ladies - gosh hello designers and shops - there are ladies out there who are 33/34 inside leg - start making more of them dammit lol :smile:

Frustrates me when I see a lovely pair of trousers/jeans, go to put them on and the bottom of them are swinging above my ankles lol :rolleyes:

Very good point actually.

Plenty of times I have seen trousers/jeans on the internet and in catalogues, but I tend to stay away from them because 9times outta 10, they never fit properly and I have a narrow back which makes finding jeans and trousers even more a chore.

OP, maybe just pop into your local town centre and go jeans/trouser hunting and purchase that way? . .
