oooo that sounds fun. I don't understand why they don't just send out rejection emails at this point, I find it quite rude, i'm guessing rest of the cohort means all of the nuclear grads for that year.

I guess so. The process was slow tbh.

It was slow thats true, it's just annoying atleast for me as I 100% want to go into nuclear so it's just annoying they're straddling some of us on like this with fake hope, it's demoralising.
Feel like a leftover lol, I've had 2 applications that put me in their reserve pool, which is basically a no but it just feels like shite aha

What did they ask in the informal discussion i am curious

I asked them if all the positions have been handed out already and they said: ‘Due to the volume of candidates, different disciplines and sponsors, there have been delays’ and they ask to wait. So there’s still hope for any of you feeling hopeless ◡̈

My friend finally got a reply. ONR is full, so NDA said they liked her results and want to have a chat with her. So there may be hope for some of the people who had the phone call.

That's great news, is this the friend that did the informal interview? it is a bit sus, as they (energus) told my friend that the ONR are not interviewing more candidates then they have roles so you've basically got the job, but heard nothing back still lol.

Personally, I am suspicious, I think they have already decided, and as someone mentioned above if nuclear grads is full they will then consider you for the NDA, and someone earlier said they are meeting a 'cohort'. I haven't heard back either option so i'm just assuming I haven't got the role, i do wish they'd just reject instead of these silly answers, I think they need to let us pick some sponsor options too.
For example the ONR are mostly if not all, are only considering nuclear liabilities applicants, which I find frankly absurd since when applying they said pick one application the one closest to your degree. My friend did two and we do the same course, she didn't get selected for the technical (i did), but made it into nuclear liabilties and now probably the role (but hasn't heard back from the 'informal interview' which probably wasn't informal it was to see if you'd fit in and know stuff.
Has anyone applied to newcleo lol btw, i have a video interview assessment with them, was curious if any of you guys know the questions haha.
I have an interview tomorrow for a non-nuclear role so i'm going to give it my all, hopefully it's enough so i can be done with this **** xD, no longer waiting for nuclear companies they're loosing out on me! haha.
