Perhaps try looking for Wallace E Davies - New Perspectives in American History and Derrick Murphy, Kathryn Cooper and Mark Waldron - United States 1776-1992.
Primary sources for this will come from things like MLK speeches etc which are easy enough to find online

OCR A Level has a course encompassing this period (1865-1992) with a large section on African Americans. The access to history textbook has a lot of sources on this.
Perhaps try looking for Wallace E Davies - New Perspectives in American History and Derrick Murphy, Kathryn Cooper and Mark Waldron - United States 1776-1992.
Primary sources for this will come from things like MLK speeches etc which are easy enough to find online
