Mmmmk. What about when its still attached to the animal? You go for that?

I dont think its an unpopular opinion at all, am sure people are happy for you but ultimately dont care as long as you arent forcing them to eat it if its not what they want. Saves on your electric.

Yes that's usually an unpopular opinion among humans.
I prefer my meat very overdone- meat pies, burgers, fried chicken, sausages, kebabs and curries.

Beef is ironically one of the few meats that is still widely served entirely raw, as steak tartare.

"meat" is a pretty broad term. A lot of meat is commonly served raw, like fish and steak. Some meat should never be served raw (like chicken).

Are you not concerned about the bacteria from eating raw meat? If you find meat dry when cooked, then you're probably preparing meat wrong or eating the wrong types of meat.

Pancetta is one of the worst because its pork which may have tape worm and other awful worms/microbes.

I prefer meat that doesn't run the risk of killing me personally.

In terms of steak I understand what you mean. A rare steak is unbeatable.
