What does planck's constant represent, why is it that the number links the energy of a photon and frequency?
What is the number mean??

its literally just a constant to show the direct proportional relationship between the energy of a photon and the frequency of a photon (photoelectric effect)

Links the amount of energy a photon carries with the frequency of the photon. (Photoelectric effect)
E= hf= hc/ lambda (h is planck’s constant)
Before it was discovered there was no proof for the photoelectric effect being true as increase in light intensity did not increase the energy that the light has.
