a body moves from rest to 0.20 meters in 0.1 seconds we know know it has not travelled for a complete second but still we are able to calculate its speed for a second assuming that if he continues his journey as he is doing initially then after a second his speed would be 2 m/s (as in this case)

it would depend whether it is accelerating or not, coz then there wouldnt be a constant velocity
