I have an email from Cambridge saying I'm rejected without interview but it still says "Referred" on UCAS is this normal or should I ask if it is a mistake?

The email will be correct, UCAS sometimes takes time to update.

Sorry

I don't believe that UCAS updates when you receive a response about an interview to Oxbridge. My UCAS didn't update until the result post-interview in January. Or perhaps if it does now then it simply hasn't updated yet.

It can take a while for UCAS to catch-up.
If you have the email from Cambridge, I'm afraid it is game-over.
