Seems to me you’ve drawn a short straw and as a result stuck with some awful flatmates. Not a lot really you should do imo, you don’t owe them anything, keep it civil and focus more on the decent people around university. First year may seem like a bit of a letdown not having a good flat, but this happens more often than you would think. I couldn’t really find people I click with in first year, it happened more in second year and final year putting myself out there a little bit. Try not to let them get to you, hope this helps.

I see a lot of threads about not fitting in with flatties but I actually feel for you. I don't know what to do other than advise you to move. Don't give up on socialising, but you also don't deserve to stress about socialising with nasty ppl. Cliques suck, let them enjoy their pitiful time together. The place might burn down with those useless dullards and without you there, who knows. Ok that was mean but still.
wow this really breaks my heart! I agree with the person above, don't give up on socialising, my entire flat is full of amazing people, we have all become good friends, one guy from my flat moved from a different flat to our one quiet late because he also did not get on with the previous people and now he is happy to live with us.

try to convince the accommodation managers to either move you or give you a refund! No one deserves to be treated this way, it really makes me sad how cruel people can be. You did nothing wrong at all, in fact you did everything right.

please update us!!
What horrible people. I would really like to be updated as well.
