Is it supposed to be one page? Including personal profile, education, employment, interests, and references
Do you have any good links to look into? Thank you
Is this applying for a Masters, or having done one?
Either way you want an academic CV, so all the rules you hear online about a 1 page CV are kinda out the window. A short personal profile (I never used an intro paragraph just a few contact details right at the top), education, employment, publications (if any), other relevant experience, brief bit on skills/interests. I never added references, usually they are asked for separately (and its best to ask them beforehand anyway!)
I also added an "appendix" at the end with an abstract for all my research projects, though now I'm on a PhD I don't anticipate doing that again.

Hey,
Thanks for that.
I am applying for masters, but finding it hard to fit everything into one page? Are two pages acceptable or is it considered as "waffling"

There's a CV Help forum on TSR that can ....well, help!
You can probably fit everything relevant on one page. Like every CV, it's a concise set of evidence that you have the skills to do whatever you are applying for. So what you need to mention is necessarily limited and focussed on the application.

No, mine was two pages but it could have been longer if I had more relevant experiences. The academic CV style is pretty filled with detail (some can go on very extensively when you add in publications) but for a masters I'd be surprised if you took anything more than 2 pages
