Hii, does anyone know (from experience) if the markshemes for gcse biology and chemistry change every year, (from maybe 2012-2020) or do they stay relatively similar? (As in, are certain answers allowed in a certain year but not it in another)?

I’ve done my gcses 2 years ago now edexcel tend to stick to the same markschemes. My grade 9 advice would be to make your notes from the mark schemes based on spec sheets.

Thank you so much! By the way, how many past papers did you do? Did you use only past paper questions for exam practice or did you use other resources, such as workbook questions as well?

Save my exams questions and markshemes from ocr and edexcel. I did past papers since 2010- 8 years is as far as I went. Condense your notes soo much to fit 1 topic a page (trust me I still do that with a levels works like a charm just needs hours of work :smile:

, questions and lots of practice and YouTube for more complex concepts. Best of luck 🤞
