What books are they recommending you to read? It would be ideal if I have an idea of the syllabuses to better direct you.
For management accounting, I would recommend reading books by Colin Drury. They're useful even after uni.
I don't have anything specific for financial accounting, since most of those I have came across were either bad, boring, or brief. I had a tough time addressing the issues the lecturer keeps alluring to through the books.
Is there a specific theme you are having problems with in accounting? Balancing books? Financial analysis? Calculations?
