Hi. I just started my 1st year in level 3 (A Level) ICT in a new college. Last year I did Level 2 ICT because I only got 3 Gcses so I couldn't move onto level 3. So far I'm not liking the course because I find most of it boring and I don't listen sometimes because I don't like it obviously. I don't want to drop out of the course because I'm afraid of what I could do next. I also find it hard to find friends in the new school because I don't have much confidence to talk to people. I don't want to go to uni and I find doing this course very pointless for the next 2 yrs of my life if I will probably fail. I don't know what I could do if I dropped out and if I did I'm afraid of my family's reaction and what my teachers would say. I'm also afraid of what to do in my future. I don't want to have a boring job that school got me until I'm 60 and retire. I want to have a job that I love, possibly self employed but failure holds me back. The main things is fear. I fear for the future of my life because I think I'm going to become nothing. Basically I need advice on what the best option would be and what I could do if I left this course. Thanks.
