Price for taking summer 2021 exam?

Hi guys I have a query regarding summer 2021 exam. I am a gap year student, got CAG didn’t like the grades I got so took the autumn exams. I only have one subject I’m in doubt of whether I’ll receive the grade I need or not so I’m thinking into taking the summer exam only for that subject. How much would it be to enter it only for one subject? It is edexcel chemistry btw. Thanks in advance!

It depends on the centre. The exam board's fee is £95.55 but the centre will add a charge on to that to cover their time, expertise, invigilation etc. Taking it at your previous centre is likely to be much the cheapest option - they may not charge you extra, or if they do it probably won't be much. Taking it elsewhere is likely to be £250ish, and you need to make it clear that you can carry forward the pass in the assessed practicals - taking those would probably push the cost up to over £1000
