How about giant ionic lattice?
How about giant ionic lattice?
Essentially just a giant structure that is formed due to ionic bonding. Electrostatic forces of attraction form between the oppositely charged ions.

simple molecular substances as the name implies are made up of small molecules, they are mostly covalent in nature and will have low melting and boiling points, this means that they will be gases and liquids at room temperature or solids like wax or sugar that melt easily. Giant covalent structures will have high melting and boiling points, for example diamond, sand, glass all have giant covalent structures with very high melting and boiling points
