Hi all! Has anyone else applied for the 2 year part time course? I applied for the Jan deadline and just had my interview on Friday.
Nice to meet you all, Fran

That's great to know! Hope you get an offer letter from them too
Do you by any chance know if they're still sending out interview invites? or are they done for the January intakes?

Thank you, fingers crossed.
I'm afraid I don't have the answer to your question.

If they haven't sent out a rejection yet, I'm sure it means they're still sending out interview invites.

I hope you're right.

Yea same. I think the closure is for the March deadline. I'm not too sure though.
They mentioned that every applicant on the January deadline will typically find out within 8-10 weeks the outcome of their application, which includes those who have interviewed already. I think for us folk waiting for interviews our chance of an interview gets smaller by each passing day.
Hi fellow applicants,
I was interviewed on Tuesday and the interviewer mentioned that that was the last day of the round of interviews for the January intake (they had been interviewing people since last week). He mentioned that decisions should follow by this Friday or latest next Friday. I have no idea of how many people they interviewed and whether they will directly accept candidates without interviews based on the strength of their application. He said they will accept only 20+ candidates out of 200+ applications for the January deadline, though. Quite competitive, as expected. Just thought of sharing this.

Oh I see. It does seem very competitive. 25 seats is the availability mentioned on the website and 200+ applications....wow. Anyways let's see how it turns out.
Also thank you so much much the update. It helps a lot in terms of getting clarity and I also hope you qualify for an offer!
Just got my rejection email at 2am UK time, exactly at the time people on TSR say Oxford sends the rejection emails. But happy to have made it this far nonetheless. Wish you all the best of success!

What were everyone’s chosen topics and what key points did you try make?

Thanks!

Hello everyone!

Well, I believe that it is important to "finish" this thread telling how everything ended up being. My interview was on March 9 (I believe the interview cycle for the January deadline lasted 1 week), my "Upload documents" button disappeared on March 16 (The same day some people were rejected), and on March 23, some people and I received our offers for the Energy Systems course. I am just writing this because it may be an indication of many things for different people, and could be useful for future applicants.

During my interview, I was told that around 160 people applied for the January deadline, that they were interviewing 1/3 of them, and in the end, they were going to offer 23 seats.

I have not achieved this easily, and I am confident you all have your own life stories that make you unique. Try it next time! if it is not for the master, maybe it could be for the Ph.D. or something even bigger!
