I got an email from Cardiff University about fees status. Ive completed the questionnaire but they've asked me to open a query using the ask a question button but there is no such button. Either that or I can't see so could someone help me out a bit. Thanks

Hiya!
So the fee status questionnaire is just so the university knows whether to class you as a home or international student if they gave you an offer - it shouldn't really give any bearing whether or not you get an offer. Lots of students who are asked about the fee status questionnaire do end up receiving an offer later on

thank you! i totally do understand that but unfortunately i’m just so confused, they sent me an email telling me to book a virtual offer holder day for medicine and when my ucas nominee and myself called they said it doesn’t exactly mean anything but we didn’t exactly speak to the medical admissions team it was just the general undergrad admissions team so I’m very confused

Ah, sorry to hear that! I understand why it might be confusing. Its fantastic you got an invitation for a virtual offer holder day, well done! Having been in your situation as well - the best thing to do is to just get your fee questionnaire sent back to the admissions team as soon as possible because after that, you'll typically receive the official decision made by the uni through UCAS, and hopefully that can provide a bit more clarity.
Are you thinking of attending the virtual offer holder day?

I’ve sent the Fees Questionnaire on the same day I received it, which was February 27. No updates on UCAS, just the offer holder day which said “Congratulations (my name) for receiving the offer in medicine!”. I called them and they said it doesn’t mean anything yet?!?! Thank you for all your help though! I’m definitely attending the offer holder day.

Ah I see! No worries, I hope you enjoy the Offer Holder day
