Struggle making friends with girls

Ive always had an issue with making friends, especially with girls. I have a few girl friends but I don’t even remember how we met and got close, but whenever I make an effort to be friendly with a girl I’ve just met, the conversation never passes more than a few messages. That’s why I’m worried about uni, what if I try to be friendly but no one likes me?

Texting someone you've never met can be harder or more awkward than speaking to someone in person. Keep being friendly and if people dont like you thats their loss, I wouldnt worry.

Thats the issue with uni being online - you never build up the physical friendship with other students - which I believe links with ghosting and “flaking”. Just keep trying and I know it’s difficult right now. When things go back to some sort of normality things will be easier.
