These questions are always difficult for people to answer, as there won't be anyone who has studied both degrees at both universities to make a direct comparison. You also haven't given many background details to go on.

First, why do you want to do a Biology degree, and why are you considering these two universities?
Are you considering any other universities? You will be able to apply to 5 in total through UCAS
Any ideas what careers you might be interested in post-degree?
Are there any particular topics in biology that interest you?

Your answers to these questions can put you into a much better position to answer which of those two universities you want to go to

It mainly depends on three years subject specific vs four years broader education, as they are very similar in most other aspect. When I was making the choice I thought Durham was warmer, but the fact is there is no difference and Durham's weather is even worse.

If you are Scots then defo St Andrews, it's not worth spending money for studying in England.
