Very straightforward question. For apples’. Weights. N(130,64) find.weight of the lower 20% by weight.
Answer 123.26703 which given the data is given to two sf I put 123g. I would be tempted to write 120g.
The mark scheme give two marks for 123.3 but none for 123 they insist on 1dp. This is an aqa test from their site.
Why insist on 1dp?

Well it turns out that the question says to give the answer to 1dp. Fair enough I suppose even though the data does not suggest that 1dp is sensible.
