Should i join the RAF as Police or PTI?

So I want to join the RAF and am currently training away trying to get up to the fitness level to become a PTI. However the only other job that interests me in the RAF is Police. As i have found some brilliant advice on student room before and always happen to luck out with finding someone who has experience of the issue raised i thought I’d ask this. Would you recommend RAF Police if you are part of that trade? What are the day to day activities carried out? Do you enjoy it overall? (Everyone has their bad days i know) any insight would be brilliant and much appreciated.

As above, not an expert on either trade but what'd I'd suggest is definitely have your top and a second choice in mind when you go to sit your AST (Airman Selection Test), but be open minded about other trades. You may qualify for everything, in which case = no problem! But if you don't quite make it for the police/PTI role you may qualify for lots of others. Just something to consider thinking about.
