My NHS social work bursary arrived 1 day late. The deadline was a Sunday, it was attempted to be delivered on the Saturday but couldn’t.
It arrived on the Monday and they have said this is too late and I can not get one.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I paid for special delivery and for it to be delivered on the Saturday.
I only found out Thursday night I was entitled to the travel allowance which is why I didn’t send until the Friday morning.

Sorry about your predicament, royal mail guarantee next working day delivery, unfortunately Saturday is classed a weekend. Have you asked if you can appeal their decision?

I paid for Saturday special delivery which cost me £20 to do
