You need to start checking international relations courses and the entranbce requirements. At a guess I would say if you go low enough down the food chain, yes, although some of the more competitive unis might have required subjects like history or politics.

You cna check this out by picking 10-15 target unis and checking. Would seem silly for me to do it for you.

Manch says
Applicants must be studying at least one of the following A-level subjects: Accounting, Anthropology, Business Studies, Classics, Economics, English Language/Literature, Further Mathematics, Geography, History, Law, Mathematics, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology, Use of Mathematics and World Development.

Birmingham says
Cant see any subject requirements.

Sheffield says
BTEC relevant subject areas required are either Applied Law, Business, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Personal and Business Finance, Applied Psychology, Applied Science or Environmental Sustainability. No other subjects are accepted.

You can check the rest for yourself.

Check with Admissions at the unis that interest you whether your BTEC subject is acceptable. Some of them such as Aston don't mention which subject the BTEC has to be in so you might be ok for them but only they can say for sure.

There is another route - if you did a degree in Law first, this requires no specific subjects and many Unis would just look at your grades not the subject, then do a Masters degree in IR after this. Law could lead you straight into relevant jobs without the Masters - Central Government Fast Track etc.
