I graduated with CIM PGD in 1999 (I'm a dinosaur), many years ago, it was verified as equivalent to a degree, but lately I have checked and a Post Graduate Diploma at level 7 is actually equivalent to a Masters in today's conversion. Anyone with a CIM PGD can confirm this with me? I've contacted CIM directly to ask and awaiting their reply. If they do get back to me, I will update here for others as well. Thank you!

According to the following webpage, Level 7 should be roughly the same as a master's:

I wouldn't say it's the same as a master's because you haven't done a disseration to go along with it (I also have a PG Diploma, just not in marketing). A PG Diploma is essentially a master's without the disseration. To me, it's more akin to a bachelor's than a master's
According to CIM, the highest qualification you can go with their diplomas is a Level 7:

In fact you are right, I had received a reply frm CIM and my PG Dip is only level 6 and more akin to a bachelors than masters as you say. If I were to upgrade it to level 7, I need to take all three modules. If I had level 7 as you say, it would also be more a masters level without dissertation. So my question now is should I take 3 modules to make it to level 7 (masters level without masters qualification) or should I do a masters from scratch because its essentially the same time (1 year).
