Hello, I'm in year 11 and based in Barkingside and planning to apply for a place in 6th form at Woodford county(for 2021 entry), I'm qualified for the entry criteria with my predicted grades but want to hear from anyone who joined 6th form there and what grades they got in GCSEs.

Hi, thanks , with my predicted grades I'm qualified to apply but I'm worried with all the competition if I would get through or not. My question is more about if anyone got through to 6th form what grades did they achieve in GCSE's to get a place into Woodford

I attend the school as a year 11 student so I don't have my GCSEs yet but they lecture us every other day about sixth form so, while it's good if your predicted grades meet the criteria, it is rather competitive so if you actively want to secure your space I'd say you'd probably be good on predicted all 7-9 or 8-9, I'm saying this because at GCSE at this school no one is aiming for below an 8 in any subject and a lot of students are predicted all 8s and 9s, plus it's harder to get in as an external student.
