Ok I'm making a logo and have all the little bits of it. I have two swirls and want them to go behind a picture so you can see them but they are in the background. However, the picture I want it be behind has a white background and I want to make it transparent so you can see the swirls underneath the pic.. please help

I think it would differ, by the picture editing software you are using, however most have 'magic wand' tool. Have you tried it yet?

Edit: Basically, you select the tool and click on the white background. As a result, it will select the pixels of the similar colour within that picture and you can delete them afterwards. You can also change the tolerance for the colour.
