Do you think it’s a good idea to study Biomedical science with a placement year or not? I’m think about a research based career so would this be useful to have experience from an integrated undergrad degree. Hi

I've applied to do this. I think it can give you an idea of if research is the the thing you actually want to do (you might hate the placement and decide you don't want to be a researcher). Its also good to gain experience and future employees or MA or PhD Unis see it as a positive

Do the placement year course.

It gets you over the problem of being a fresh graduate with no relevant work experience - you will already have something on your CV. You earn money in the middle of your degree, and it gives you knowledge/focus for your degree studies.
