1A Have you had a test for COVID-19?
No
2A Have you tested positive for COVID-19?
No
3A Do you believe that you have had COVID-19?
Yes
1B Should the government implement a travel ban on countries with higher cases of COVID-19?
Pointless now. Should have been done from the outset but instead they allowed 15,000 people a day to waltz into the UK from hot spot countries like China, Italy and Spain throughout the lockdown without any health or temperature checks nor any mandated isolation. What a farce !
2B Should restrictions be eased so people can socialise together over the Christmas period?
Those who are not vulnerable and not closely in regular contact with the vulnerable should be free to live their lives normally. The vulnerable and those in contact with them should be locked down with proper support.
3B Should the current lockdown be extended to January 5?
Only for the vulnerable and those in contact with the vulnerable as above
1C Should the Brexit transition period be extended because of the COVID-19 pandemic?
No absolutely not. We should walk away as soon as possible.
2C Should 80% of the UK be mass tested over a 24hr period?
Yes
But again it's way too late. They should have pumped £millions into testing people from the outset to understand how many millions of people had already had Covid and to give the public that most vital piece of information . . . whether they currently have Covid or not.
Had they done this millions would have realised they had Covid who didn't previously know it (because 86% of cases are asymptomatic) and those people (most of them) would have then dutifully isolated for 14 days.
Unfortunately even now the government is still instructing people "to only get tested if you are sick and have symptoms" which is utterly moronic and totally disingenuous. It means the only "confirmed cases" are those of the badly sick when as everyone knows the TRUE number of cases out there is multiples bigger than the "confirmed cases". Even a formal IPSOS MORI study that was done months ago and which sent finger prick tests to 1000s of people across the country concluded that there had been 3.4 MILLION cases of Covid in the UK by 13th July. At the time the government was still telling the public that there were only 300,000 "confirmed cases". They are still peddling this BS today. The government website states the number of "confirmed cases" as 1.5 million. That in reality means that the number of Covid cases that there have been in the UK is around 15m to 30m. This persistent publishing of carefully crafted figures and stats needs to stop and the public needs to be fully and properly informed of :
- how many cases there have been,
- how many asymptomatic cases there have been
- how many people have survived Covid with no problems
- how many have died DIRECTLY as a result OF Covid rather than WITH Covid
and so on.
No
2A Have you tested positive for COVID-19?
No
3A Do you believe that you have had COVID-19?
Yes
