If you are using a computer, place the mouse over your profile picture on the right hand corner and click on my TSR and then 'change my profile picture'.
I only know how to do it in a computer. Hope it can help you

Thanks for asking this. Prompted by this thread I now have a profile picture and an avatar! yay! 
(If anyone's looking for how to change your picture on the forums here besides your posts, I just learned that's called your avatar, not your proflie picture hehe!
- Hover over your username above in the top right near the search bar
- Click "My TSR"
- Click "Customise My TSR"
- Click "Change my avatar" )
