I expect a lot will be reading playing games using social media, binge watching etc.
Why cant you get out of the hall and do your own shopping? That would seem to me to be one of the highlights?
If you quit, then follow the formal procedure, talk to your tutor, fill out the form and get a GP or note from welfare.
Things will get better next year, but wont be all at once. What do your parents say?

I am 100pc sure millions of students feel the same way as u. I am glad my study abroad time was only partly destroyed by lockdown. I returned to SW US where the weather is sunny and the days r not short in winter so I can spend time outside.
But I can imagine how depressing it all is and how pointless it seems when coz u r isolated in uni halls u actually have less social time than with ur fam b4 u left hs as well as having to deal with more probs. I gotta say in the current sit it rlly doesn't seem worth it to pay for uni, not until things improve.

Do you have enough money?
You need to get out and go for a walk every day? Maybe volunteer?
What about the uni or course? How are studies going?
You arent going back over Christmas? If not then what will you do if you quit?
Nothing to lose by applying anyway if you wnat a different course or uni.
If you think yourself into doom scenarios, then I imagine its going to suck more.
What is it you wnat advice on? Can you be more specific?

I'm so sorry that you are feeling so bad

A lot of unis or student unions are doing online activities, that might be a good way to socialise with people. If you're really struggling, you could discuss deferring by a year with your tutor. Also, it sounds as though you should definitely get in touch with your university's well-being team again, or at last ask your GP to refer you to them.
Are you into cooking at all? If so, you could try learning some new recipes so that you have something to do and something to eat. This may also encourage your room mates to chat more, if you share a kitchen. It would probably be easier to bulk-buy cupboard goods/freezer foods - after all, eating just cereal or rice is better than eating nothing
I hope that this helps!
-Lizzy.
