I'm in my second year A level now and have been predicted ABB in english, maths and chemistry... but i really really do not know what course to do at uni.. i definitely want to go, and want something that would have a good career..

ive looked at chemistry courses, english courses... quite a lot really, but i dont want to make the wrong decision.. any advice? or enlightening me on what a course i could do would do for me in the future? thanks

You could do straight chemistry or straight english that will open many doors

Have you looked at the suggestions on university websites for possible careers linked to certain subjects? Prospectuses will often tell you what students that study their courses go on to do.

It all depends on what you're good at. UCAS has the Stamford test which you might find useful - you basically answer a survey and it tells you what you seem to be interested in and what careers/courses might suit you.

Then again, you don't HAVE to do something because you want a career out of it. It's perfectly acceptable to change your mind once you've done your degree. My sister did a degree in microbiology or something, because she wanted to be some kind of scientist or something, and then she changed her mind and became an accountant. So it's not like it's going to matter really badly if you take one degree and then decide to do something totally different after uni.

I would say just look at what you're really interested in, not what career you're aiming for, then think about what sort of jobs would be suited to that degree and see whether you fancy them.
