Still haven't received interview email!!

I applied to biomedical sciences at oxford and still haven't heard back from them regarding interviews. I don't want to get my hopes up but if they take longer to send interview invitation/rejection emails out does it mean they're considering your application longer? (hence have more of a shot at getting an interview?)
