Can you do a systematic review, even if you’re just looking at literature (none of which include randomised controlled trail/cohort/case-control studies) - but include info from sites like the Kings fund?
Or would you have to do a scoping/other literature review?

Maybe it depends on the course but generally, a dissertation would be in the form of an empirical paper and based on research that you carry out yourself.
Sometimes you have to complete a review before the empirical paper (I had to submit a literature review alongside) but for STEM or social science subjects the dissertation itself has to be your own research rather than summarising existing literature.
