If you’re going to kill yourself with an axe, get it right the first time.

And I did, and I am.

You shouldn't want to be somewhere you're not wanted / You shouldn't want someone who doesn't want you.

To be mindful// meditate

Sounds wishy-washy until you actually feel the life-changing effects of learning to be in the moment instead of living in your head, stuck in the past, or envisioning future scenarios. Even if momentarily.

If someone doesn't like chocolate, it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with chocolate.
Similarly: If someone doesn't like you, it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you.
You could be someone else's favourite snack

There is always more than one way to do something.
Just because an expert tells you there is only one way of doing something doesn't mean there is only one way.
It means that expert only knows of one way.
There is often a lot out there beyond what that one expert may know because there are often other fields that specialize in the same subject which that expert may know nothing about.
