I’m looking at economics at top places like Warwick but don’t know if I have a chance as I didn’t take further maths
My GCSE subjects were:
Maths and further maths
English lit/Lang
Chemistry
Physics
Biology
Economics
History
Food tech
Spanish
I got a 9 in every subject and an A* in further maths however at the time I wasn’t thinking of going into economics so when I picked a levels I didn’t do further maths. My a levels are maths, economics and history and I’m predicted A*A*A (with the A in history) and I also did an EPQ on economics which I got an A* in. I’m also doing work experience in an economics based field.
Do I have a chance of getting into a uni like Warwick despite not doing further maths?

You have a pretty good chance anywhere. There are only a couple of universities that require FM. I am not sure about Warwick. If it isnt in the entry requirements it shouldnt affect you. I think LSE wants further Maths. Not sure about anywhere else.

I would suggest having a look at Oxford’s Economics & Management course. The course at Oxford isn’t as mathematically based as other universities and many students who apply and are successful have not taken further maths.

Only LSE and Cambridge require FM, so you're fine with Warwick or any other uni besides the two I mentioned
