Currently, I have 2 jobs in mind: clinical psychologist & midwifery
To be a clinical psychologist, can you do btec level 3 health and social care? This is because you can become a midwife studying btec health and social care but I have a feeling that to be a clinical psychologist, you have to do psychology as an A-level and from what I’ve seen on the UCAS website, you have to do LEVEL 3 btec not 2 or 1 to be accepted into most universities.
Help 😩

tbh a lot of psychology applicants don’t really do btecs, but alevels instead.
typically psychology applicants do alevel bio and 2 other subjects (commonly chem/psych.) so you may be at a disadvantage applying for psychology as a majority of applicants don’t do btecs. however that’s not to say you won’t get in!
midwifery & nursing have lots of applicants who do health & social care. they also accept alevel subjects too, & favour applicants who do bio alevels (which would also meet the psychology entry requirements).
have you thought of doing bio alevel?
hope this helps!
