What does it mean when a girl and a guy have been consistently talking on whatsapp everyday for more than a year (one doesnt come online unless the other does, both go offline together, either party becomes more active on whatsapp when the other is online sometimes for hours at a time) , but both party however denies having anything between them, the guy even going as far as to say the girl is not his type?

Just because there are interactions online between the members opposite sex party, it has to do severely with romance. A boy and girl can be good friends. Could be different, but just speaking out of my own experience and thoughts. I don't know too much about their interactions in real life, anyways.
