Has anyone had a large skin that removed?

I know they’re classed as cosmetic which is why not many doctors will remove them, but I have a large skin tag under my butt cheek, will grow and shrink in size throughout the week and it bleeds daily without me touching it. I’ve had it for several years now and it’s not been a bother but this exact thing has happened before about 2 years ago. I literally wake up every day with blood spots on my pj bottoms from it bleeding overnight. It’s really starting to irk me that I’ve had to wear plasters on it for the last 2 weeks straight but I don’t know whether my doctor would remove it, even if it is constantly bleeding.
Has anyone has a skin tag removed that wasn’t classed as a cosmetic reason?
(I don’t always wear plasters at night as I think it’s stopped for the day, go to bed without one, and then wake up with blood spots)

I would say that as it is bleeding you should speak to a doctor and you should be able to either get it removed or something else to stop it bleeding on the NHS.
