I use a MacBook Air, I’m a law student so we have a lot of writing to do and research, I’ve had no problems doing this on a MacBook Air!

I highly recommend getting a Mac, especially if you have an iPhone or iPad because it syncs up work. I’m always finding things on my iPhone that relate to my work, you can copy it on your phone and then paste it onto your MacBook and visa versa, you can also take screenshots on a MacBook, the sound is better than any windows I’ve had (I’ve had 4 laptops from windows), and it’s light weight

Yeah it's expensive and much more useful for film editing or music production among other things from what I heard. It also makes it easier to get photos in and out your apple phones if you use them

Also, if you do notes on your phone, it comes up on your Mac, or if you do notes on your Mac then it’s on your phone. I find this really useful for lists and things.

I currently have a Mac book air, having previously had a Mac book pro. They have both been more reliable than my previous windows laptops. My MacBook Pro that was bought 10 years ago still works!
