Hi guys,

So I’m currently studying a Masters in Fine Art. I completed my Undergrad this summer and have started my Masters, due to finish in January 2022. I am really enjoying it! However... I don’t know whether I should continue on with it or not. It’d be a shame to drop out but..

In the back of my mind I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. I’ve suddenly decided that yes that is right for me. I want to teach Art and Design in a secondary school. I’ve been looking into it and most PCGE courses start September 2021, I’ll still be studying my Masters then so I don’t know if I should drop out and go for the PCGE (but then I might not even get accepted / might look bad if I drop out, also it’d be a shame to not get my MA).

Or do I wait until September 2022? Is it possible to go for a PCGE after an MA? I know most people usually do it the other way around? Would I still be able to get funding?

Thank you
