Hi,

Do you have to have the app to join a zoom call?

Also are there the standard options of turning your mic and camera on and off?

you can use the web browser if you want to
and yes the standard options are there

No, you can join a meeting via your browser. Yes you can do that ...

I have it installed so I could set up a background rather than people seeing where I am.

So I’ve tried to use the browser but then I get to this page and then I’m stuck and don’t have a clue how to join the meeting...

A pic should show up here now...

Please can you guide me as to what to do next?

it would be much easier to use on a laptop or computer but were you sent a the passcode to join

Yeah, so I’ve clicked on the invitation link and it’s taken me to this page and now I don’t know what to do

Unfortunately my laptop has broken so until it’s fixed I’ve only got my phone to make do with. In this case would it be best for me to download the app then?

Yes I was sent a link and passcode too. Clicked on the link and what I see is what you see
