Hey all,

It's currently looking like I won't be getting a summer internship this year. What does this do to my chances of securing a grad scheme in (tax) consulting?

No one except the recruitment teams at each company knows and the answer will vary depending on the company and even the location.

You can always apply for an internship for next summer. You can also apply for volunteering roles, particularly those related to finance. Maybe volunteer to be a treasurer for a society?

go for something less competitive that still demonstrates some skills

consulting is a broad field. any evidence of leadership, communication, business acumen is very useful
