Just to make sure you are 17 years old.
Dw it could be worse, I got ID'ed for an energy drink at morrisons in front of my new uni friends and it happened to be the day I did not bring my ID so I had to do the walk of shame to put it back

why would you put it back when you can leave it there? in the face of adversity you could've at least taken a stand

Strangely enough, the same store let me buy alcohol without any ID (although it was only just one time)

Because they can’t tell your age when you order and your only 17 so basically look underage.

I did try, I insisted I was 19 and not under 16 but they weren't having any of it

It gets even worse as you get older, I still get ID’d at the age of 30. Not for energy drinks since I passed the age of 28 but still I’d say almost every other time I get asked when I buy wine!
