Specifically when applying as an individual, what can they see? Will they be able to see all my private details and my personal statement?

From what I understand, your referee can see your personal statement once it has been submitted, and some personal details (e.g. prior qualifications). There’s also a button you can click once submitted so you can allow them to see if you get any offers x
