I clean my teeth religiously every day and only drink water without eating many sugary foods, yet I went to the dentist today with some toothache and I need two fillings, how can I prevent this or why is it happening, thanks.

Do you use fluoridated toothpaste?
Do you spit or rinse out your toothpaste?
You may have hidden sugars in your diet without realising.
How long have you kept up your dietary and oral hygiene habits?
