What university do you go to and how flexible are they with your other subject options?
I really want to study physics and geography (and economics too if possible). The Scottish Degree system normally allows 3 subjects to be studied in your first year, but many physics courses I have looked at don't allow this due to the amount of content or choose your subjects for you (e.g. Physics, Maths, Astronomy), leaving no room for your own choices. Some universities do allow you to study another subject, but not enough credits to cover all of the core modules so you are still stuck with a rigid physics degree and no option to switch subject.
Is it possible for me to study both physics and geography, covering all the core modules in both subjects so that I can decide later whether to graduate in either one?
Thank you!
